The Pharmacology department would like to congratulate Dr. Akshaya Meher (Norbert Leitinger’s Lab) for his article entitled ” Novel Role of IL(Interleukin)-1B in Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms,” that was recently accepted for publication in the journal, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology. Dr. Meher was the first and the corresponding author of the article. He was also invited by a senior editor of Nature Reviews Cardiology to write a news story on this article.
