Spring Seminar Series Begins February 11th with Christopher Del Negro


A cold front may be moving through the area, but we are¬†warming up for an exciting semester of seminar speakers! The Spring 2016 Pharmacology Seminar Series will get started on Thursday, February 11, 2016, with Christopher Del Negro¬†presenting. Dr. Del Negro is a Professor and Chair of Applied Science at the College of William and Mary. He will be speaking at 4:00 p.m. in Jordan 1-17 on “Cellular Origins of Breathing: DBx1-derived Brainstem Interneurons Generate Inspiratory Rhythm and Motor Pattern.” This seminar is hosted by Thurl Harris.

Please note: for the Spring 2016 semester, seminars will continue to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Beginning in the Fall 2016 semester, seminars will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays.
