Erik Halvorsen, PhD (Pharmacology, Class of 2001) was recently appointed as Director of Texas Medical Center’s (TMC) Innovation Institute. An interesting article in Xconomy Texas takes a look at some of the ways TMC plans to help boost Houston’s biotech scene and the ways Dr. Halvorsen imagines building a mutually supportive biotech ecosystem.
