Congratulations to Rhianna Laker (post-doc) and Garrett Mullins (pre-doc) for taking home the 2014 Robert Haynes Award for the best presentations at the 2014 Pharmacology Retreat! Rhianna is a postdoctoral fellow in Zhen Yan’s lab and she presented on Exercise in the Embryo – Shape Up the Epigenome. Garrett is a Ph.D. candidate in Thurl Harris’s lab and he spoke on Catecholamine-Induced Lipolysis Inhibits Glucose Uptake and Causes mTOR Complex Dissociation in Adipocytes.
